Futuremag Music is always looking for passionate music lovers, writers, photographers, and creatives who want to build their experience in music journalism.
We offer mentored internship and volunteer opportunities for emerging writers who are keen to develop their skills, grow a portfolio, and gain real-world publishing experience.
As an intern with Futuremag Music, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute articles, reviews, interviews, and features while receiving weekly mentorship and editorial guidance from our Editor-In-Chief, Brooke Gibbs.
Our internship program is designed to support emerging creatives by offering:

Weekly mentoring sessions for feedback, skill development, and career guidance
Editorial training in music journalism and publishing
Opportunities to publish your work and build a professional portfolio
Support with university internship requirements and paperwork where needed
Access to industry opportunities, including gigs, artists interviews, and events
Futuremag Music is committed to creative a supportive environment where new writers can learn, experiment, and develop their voice.
Many of our contributors begin through our internship program and go on to become regular writers and team members.
